The Technology

RunSignup is built on the latest web technology and built on a web services architecture. This means that it is very simple to have online registration run on any website. So runners can signup right on the Race website, the Timing Service website, sponsor websites, and community websites. We use widget technology — similar to how YouTube enables websites to embed a video from YouTube right into their website.

In addition, we give you the ability for race directors to create their online signup in a self-serve mode and give you secure access to help them edit and refine their online registration process. We include administrative tools and reports to help you manage multiple events and race directors.
